Challenge: 

To replace L'Oréal’s laborious, Excel-based opportunity assignment process with a fast, transparent online system. Their previous method involved creating and managing hundreds of spreadsheets, in order to assign opportunities to their field sales team. Collating the completed sheets took weeks, and management information was understandably limited, inaccurate and hard to obtain.

Solution: 

Salesforce automation, including the assignment of target salons to field sales representatives. This required us to implement a customised, postcode-based, district level account assignment process, to meet the company’s complex assignment procedure. Later on, we supported a further phase of the project to supplement the solution with an iPad app, to allow the reps to complete visit details whilst offline, with maps integration for territory management.
